For Renew Europe MEP and secretary-general of the European Democratic Party, Sandro Gozi, Donald Trump’s victory imposes a change of pace on Europe, especially in a global context such as the current one in which ‘it is in mortal danger if it does not wake up’.

August 5, 2024 – If confirmed, the Russian propaganda against Emmanuel Macron, the Olympics and the IOC is very worrying. From the controversy surrounding the opening ceremony to the boxing match with the Algerian athlete, there is no doubt that there is a common thread: we are dealing with fake news (the painting was not that of the Last Supper and the Algerian athlete is indeed a woman), deliberately inflated by the European and American right, with the obvious complicity of the Kremlin, as shown by the intervention of the IBA, chaired by a Russian tycoon, linked to the giant Gazprom.
August 19 – Sandro Gozi, Secretary General of the European Democratic Party and member of the Renew Europe Presidency, will attend the US Democratic Party National Convention, which begins today in Chicago.
9th September 2024 – Sandro Gozi today expressed his full support for the report on European competitiveness presented by Mario Draghi, former Italian Prime Minister and ex-President of the ECB.
Sandro Gozi was Secretary of State for European Affairs in the Italian governments of Matteo Renzi and Paolo Gentiloni between 2014 and 2018. Elected to the European Parliament on the French Renaissance list, he is a member of the Renew Europe group in the European Parliament.
Renew MP and former Secretary of State in the Italian government, Sandro Gozi is concerned about the convergence of the right and far right in Europe.
