A European’s life
I was born in Italy on March 25, 1968. Exactly eleven years after the ratification of the Treaty of Rome, I am not making that up.
My life as a European began in Sogliano al Rubicone. Studying law in Bologna, international relations at the Institut d’études politiques de Paris and the Université libre de Bruxelles, then macroeconomics at the London School of Economics, I forged a solid European identity through the countries in which I studied. I grew up in an expanding and developing Europe. Soon I became interested in public affairs and more particularly in European affairs…
